Courses are designed for self-managed learning.

Central Texas College Online High School (CTCOHS) courses are designed to complement a variety of learning styles. Every course directs you toward mastery of specific learning objectives based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the College and Career Readiness standards (CCRS).

Each course consists of chapters that address specific learning objectives in 3 to 6 lessons that thoroughly cover key concepts. Reviews and practice tests help you review the material before taking the module exams. Midterms and finals are proctored exams. Proctoring requirements are explained in the Student Handbook and on the website (see “Proctor Guidelines”).

Courses also contain graded assignments and ungraded activities, all related to the material in the lessons. Instructors read, grade, and make necessary comments on assignments, providing you with direct feedback on your progress.

Dual Credit Courses

In partnership with Central Texas College, we are able to give students the opportunity to earn college credit while satisfying high school graduation requirements. Our students can also take advantage of other college level classes not available for dual-credit. In order to be eligible for dual credit courses, students must take and pass the college entrance exam(s).

VOCATIONAL DUAL ENROLLMENT NOW AVAILABLE!

We are now offering dual enrollment courses that can earn you not only high school credit, but college credits as well. Upon receiving your diploma from CTCOHS, you can also be well on your way to earning a vocational certificate or associate degree through Central Texas College.
