Accreditation

When you are choosing a school, one of the most important considerations is whether the school is accredited and by whom. Accreditation is a process that examines a school’s adherence to a rigorous set of standards. The process examines an institution’s programs, context, and community to determine how well these parts work together to meet the students’ needs.

Accreditation is important for the following reasons:

  • It demonstrates an institution’s commitment to raising student achievement.
  • Graduation from an accredited school gives the student greater access to post-secondary education and enhanced career choices.
  • Credits easily transfer from one school to another.

AdvancEDTM nationally accredits Central Texas College Online High School (CTCOHS) as a digital learning institution.
